The G8 Research Group relies on contributions, both financial and in kind, to carry out its high-quality, independent analysis, research, teaching, public education and information activities. With modest ongoing revenues, the G8 Research Group is grateful to the many users of the G8 Information Centre, students, alumni and alumnae, members and friends who contribute all year and who respond to its annual appeals to increase the value of the endowments of the G8 Research Group and the Robert H. Catherwood Scholarship program and who donate to specific projects. This support comes from many individuals and organizations in government, academic-research communities, the private sector, NGOs and the media.
The G8 Research Group also relies on in-kind support from the Robarts Library, Trinity College’s John W. Graham Library, the Centre for International Studies, the International Relations Program and the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. It also receives support from project-specific research grants and conference sponsorships.
