Biographies, Peter Hajnal

Peter Hajnal is a Research Associate at the Munk Centre for International Studies and an adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Information Studies at the University of Toronto. He has been a member of the G7/G8 Research Group of the University since 1988 and has attended 10 summits (1989-92,1994-98 and 2000). He is a co-investigator in the University of Toronto's Centre for International Studies' project on "Strengthening Canada's Environmental Community through International Regime Reform" (the EnviReform project). Professor Hajnal is author of The G7/8 System: Evolution, Role, and Documentation (Ashgate, 1999) and Volume 2 of International Information: Documents, Publications and Electronic Information of International Organizations (Libraries Unlimited, 2001), as well as a contributor to New Directions in Global Political Governance: The G8 and International Order in the Twenty-First Century (Ashgate, in press).
