Japan has reversed its position and agreed to let Russia join the Denver summit of the world's leading industrialized nations next month as a formal member. The Japanese government decided to reverse its stance on the June 20 to 22 summit talks because the other G7 members were in favor of admitting Russia. ``It would not be a wise policy for Japan alone to voice caution,'' a senior foreign ministry official said.
