Filbitron to provide electronics for G-7
Markham, Ont.-based Filbitron Marketing Corp. has been tapped
by the federal government's Halifax Summit Office to provide a
pen-based technology and communications system for the Group of
Seven Economic Summit next month. Filbitron's technology, which
involves the use of a stylus that writes on a computer screen, will
allow the world leaders instant two-way communication with their
research office three floors above the conference room. ''This is a
much more efficient solution than the summit's past processes,''
said Jim Clark, the company's vice-president of sales.
